Hi, what are diffrences between Camiloml mod, and Antinomy one?
Why Antinomy added also some to SLIC tables?
I would like to mod my board, but can't decide with which one

I'm working with Antinomy's bios and it works fine, but there is a little slowing-down at startup (during POST tests).
When my new UPS will arrive, I will try the Camiloml one...

Bios that was given to Antimony wasn't deflaut from asus page :\
It' works, but it also has some strange things:
like SLIC tables 2.1 that have written into that this is asus notebook
wonder if there are other suprises into.
and was Camiloml worked on clean one? or on the same from first post?
P.S. wtf do slic tables? ^^' (i'm noob)
they were probably added to not need windows activation (I have original one from university... but, is this only thing slic table do? )

Please read previous posts in this thread!
Camiloml has already said that his bios is an original one with AHCI enabled and nothing else modified!
Regarding the Antinomy one:
-I just tried to ask him why he add the SLIC table, obtaining no response;
-I found this mod on an italian forum too and no one has complained about problems.
SLIC table contains OEM manufacturer's informations and is useful only if you use an OEM Windows. I have an original one too and it required activation after installation. I don't know if SLIC table has other features...

Hm, probably I misread, I didn't remembered Camiloml said what was a source...
About Antinomy bios, he said me that he took one that thread author gave, without looking into what was on asus page. - so SLIC was added before Antinomy work.
Anyway, i also don't have problems with it, it works
on the other hand I don't know at all what Camiloml done to get AHCI, added label to existing AHCI part, or copy into some new one, or something else? (not even know how much options are here )

Great, I will try your also,
one question more: you added just label of ahci to asus bios, or whole part of ahci selection from other one?
Anyway, thanks to both of you, Camiloml and Antinomy, great work.
P.S. I confirm that Camiloml bios works - if someone ask
It's load PC a little faster than one with SLIC tables, but I just wonder: cause I load bios into by asus ez-flash bios utility, and he write that erasing previous one, but also all my manual changes (to voltage and speed of ram for example) stays untouched... are they somewhere else, not in bios?
Good job gentlemen

Yes, the settings are stored in CMOS memory. When you change the version to a newer/older it's recommended to clear CMOS. But when you only update BIOS with an unlocked of the same version, you may keep CMOS settings.
It's just the label.Yes, the settings are stored in CMOS memory. When you change the version to a newer/older it's recommended to clear CMOS. But when you only update BIOS with an unlocked of the same version, you may keep CMOS settings.
It's just the label.

The bios modded by Camiloml works fine! Great work!!
It is a little faster at startup than Antinomy one... I think the bios downloaded by Antinomy had already been modified and had a few problems... but the performance of my SSD, with AHCI enabled, are the same with both mods.

camiloml and Antinomy, thank you, guys!!!
I almost love you =). I've spent full 3 days on seeking solution of enabling AHCI on P5K. Found out that it's possible to flash P5KR BIOS and it'll enable AHCI and some other features, but I was unsure will it work properly in all ways. Now there's no doubt. So thank you much!!!
P.S.: Do you know something about mentioned way (P5KR BIOS -> P5K), will it work really properly?
P.S.S.: sorry for my English, guys.
