[Request-Camilo] Sony Vaio SA/SB/SC/SD/SE series R2085H4 Advanced Menu + Sata 3? Plz
#31
I'm sorry to hear that. I just wanted to let you know that i'm not like that .. 35 is not much, I find it hard to give so little amount for such great work ..
Also note i haven't downloaded any bios from you yet. I'm purely interested in the sata3

I told you, i was not talking about you Smile just loud voice thinking and laughing about the expression and how all this really goes Smile

It's a pitty i cannot safely add that, stolen by sony, sata3 support. Not by donations (that would not happen eitherway) but because it would be a good kick in the [censored] for sony and his way to "treat right" their customers in all fields.

BIOS REPOSITORY.Please consider donating (me or forum) if you like my work.
Please remember to come back and leave feedback. I hate leech and disappear thing.

Nice day.
Camilo.

Camiloml, do you think you could add bluetooth support to your R1031H4 bios version? Since Sony changed the bluetooth chip on the vaio SA3 version, we have to choose between sata3 or bluetooth.

I would rise up the amount of my donation this time Wink.

With no known way to recover it from a bad flash that kind of mods is too risky to be worth, and even more over a 1K+ $ machine.

OK. I downloaded he file from camiloml's dropbox. it extracted. then i ran "inside flash.exe" while still in windows 7. then i rebooted into bios. Saw a lot of goodies. When i saved and exit. It turned off. Now it does not do anything anymore :O When i click the start button nothing happens//!

Can anyone help me? i don't know what to do.

Well i dont think this one has a cmos battery, atleast u cannot find it anywere. this is wat it looks like http://youtu.be/LJKF6XXPSGY?t=1m22s but there is something round with black tape on it @18:36 but that would void warranty

It seems when i put it off power (including removing the battery). then return power and turn it on, the lights do turn on and i hear some noise showing sings of life. There is nothing visible on the screen at any given time and no beeps. And after about 10 seconds it turns off again. And i have to remove the power to try again.

So maybe the internal graphics was disabled or something? I remember being in this section of the modded bios. Is there a way to reset to factory settings or event better to restore the original bios with its settings?
I'm thinking on sending it to Sony to repair it. I don't think this falls under warranty but they can fix it right?

Thank you for your time

Also cmos battery seems to me what you see in the youtube video on Min 18 Sec 42. That little round piece with black and red cables attached to the board. Just in the middle of the screen at that exact time on the video.
