I screwed up and bought a bunch of memory for this before checking the license, and I cannot find anything above the OEM 2.0 SLIC, here http://www.mediafire.com/?z0xv5inj5ovjw2w or here 10/18/2011 2.2.7 http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/e...Id=R310461&FileId=2731118729
Here is my ACPI table dump http://www.mediafire.com/?6ag2o3ks48adorj It would be much help to me if someone could mod the latest bios for me please.

Hey. I am exacly in the same situation!

I need to reInstall windows ultimate, Slic DUMP Tool say Slic 2.0 but I found no way to legal use my slic 2.0 licence further.

Now I just load daz and make my new system valid. Bios is still the original slic 2.0 one.
Can anybody explain how to re-Enable a Dell Slic 2.0 Windows Ultimate.

I change from W7 Ultimate 32bit to 64 bit, but should make no difference in licensing, or?

You can try the original bios.
O740-227.exe REUp if down later

I can test it, cos this was a pc of a good friend, not mine.
What does the slic dump toolkit says to your pc?

thanks - so I installed your text file after renaming it - but my Windows 7 still won't activate - is there something else I need to do as well as install the BIOS file?

thanks - it says "dump OK! (DELLbMk_V2.0)

so this is SLIC for Windows Vista, not Windows 7 - I'd upgraded my BIOS because of repeated blue screen to V2.2.7 from V2.2.2 (moded) hence it not activating.  Your version I loaded seems to still be V2.0.  I can see from online information that I need to do a couple of slmgr.vbs commands to finish the job, but don't I need a BIOS with SLIC V2.1 first?

Thanks, Geoff

[censored], I hate Dell and I hate MS!

I de-install the DAZ-Loader slic to give the dell licence a new chance. But no success.
The same here.

Old activated os (I own still the hole os because changing to a ssd):

I hope here is somebody who can help us, really fixing this issue?
What did we both did wrong? We both got DELLbMk_V2.0 with new os, but it should be DELLQA09_V2.1.
When I load the "RSDT_06_SLIC.BIN" I got this (look at the red notes):

Here is my backuped DELLQA09_V2.1
Here is my backuped RSDT_06_SLIC.BIN

I really want to upgrade to windows 10, but without legal version (DAZ) not really possible.
