[Unlocked] Envy 14 2161se Advance Bios sp55301

I tried using the one from this post (http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-Un...HP-Envy-14) and it worked (for a one time use), and when i used the advance bios and restarted the laptop didn't work so I recovered the bios with the hp tool usb I made earlier.

Can some one help me unlock this bios, the latest bios from hp is F.09 http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp55001-55500/sp55301.exe

Ok, it works thank you.

Anyone that tries this bios, just rename the hp tools partition to something else, i renamed my to HP_TOOLS__ and it works fine.
If your bios gets corrupted just plug in your hard drive to a external enclosure and rename the partition to HP_TOOLS again and unplug the laptop and take out the battery then after a few seconds hold the windows key and b keys and plug in the power. still holding the window and b keys press the power button, when you see the power light go on wait like 10 seconds then release the keys, after a few minutes the screen will display a underscore and then the bios setup will begin. just follow the instructions and you will be able to boot once again. If the bios setup doesn't show up just keep your fingers on the windows and b keys until the bios setup comes up.

Hope this helps many more people with the new envy 14s with the i5 2430 cpus

oh and you can also make a back up on a flash drive aswell, format it to fat32 and rename it HP_TOOLS and drop the files from your HP_TOOLS partition to your flash drive. plug in your flash drive to your laptop and follow the steps from above.
