Hp DVxxxx (was an dv6110eu) before motheboard swap...

Hi there i did change motherboard in an HP DV6110eu because the motherboard was faulty.

It had an motherboard with this number "431363-001" which only had 2 usb ports and so it was an budget version.

I replace that motherboard with an identical motherboard with more features number 443775-001 this gave me firewire and 3 usb ports and a cardreader.

It all works nicely but as the motherboards bios tells me it is an compaq presario v6000 i would like to flash the bios and make it appear as an dv6227cl if possible
since i dislike seeing the compaq splash in bios etc.

It seems to me that the bios file you download from HP is the same for most of the dv6000 and presario v6000 series, but how can i make it to change "brand"

Motherboard is: Quanta-30B7 common in most DV6000-9000 models

So my question is just is there anyway to forcefully update the bios to show DV6227CL ? and remove the annoying compaq logo and get HP back?
