it worked, i now have advance menu available. Since i have the advance does this also mean i can use after market wifi card. below are the images of advance menu.

You should post a request in the whitelist remove section to remove it and to be able to use all wifi cards .

The unlocked BIOS still did not enable AES-NI for me, so I included the AES-NI enabled microcode to AHMED's unlocked BIOS.

As i remember, the unlocked bios has an option to enable AES_NI ,,,, or its still hidden !

There is an option for it, but it does not enable it on my CPU (i7-2630QM) since the microcode was old, so I updated it with the latest one available from Intel.

I had a few request to include the AES Mod on the wifi white-listed unlocked BIOS so here it is.

This BIOS includes the unlocked menues, wifi white-list, and the AES microcode update.

Hi,

Thanks for the "enhanced" bios.

I can confirm that AES-NI + unlock menu works on this latest bios. I'm let you know the status of the wifi whitelist after i got my mini-pci card.

Im thinking of flashing your modded bios, however I wanted to check my BIOS version first to make sure they were the same. Mine seems to be an updated to the version you listed (3FCN17WW)
Mines is (3FCN19WW) - System BIOS Date 02/11/11

Not sure what the differences are but I will upload it in case someone with the know how wants to take a look.

Is it safe to flash the modded one on my y560p?

Hello I've tried this mod and ended up with a brick laptop, i must have did something wrong. ( I did a full install and it rebooted, but config my setting before I booted back windows)... My Questions is I'm still able to recover my laptop because my power button is not working, it like I have a power supply issue.
