There's a little surprise in the Security section, I hope you'll find it interesting
Photos of AHCI confirmation would be appreciated.
Thank you very much indeed!
It (AHCI for 1201N) what I was looking for ages.
So, Security bonuses are very good too

You're welcome guys!

Well it should support up to 4GB of memory, what's the problem? More than that is impossible as it's the limit for 32-bit systems (and Atom is 32-bit).

Atom 330 Dual Core 64-bit, OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits show only 3Gb RAM (512Mb NVIDIA ION), BIOS show 4Gb, seems to have a limit in BIOS on OS.
Thanks in advanced.

Doesnt it show 3,5 because of the fact the 512mb is used for the ION gpu

Hello, I just registered, and my first action is to to say THANK YOU Antinomy
I've been looking for a BIOS mod like this for my 1201N for ages, from those screenshots looks like I have a new toy.
Amazing work
I have downloaded the bios mod, but I was wondering what tool do you recommend to use to update the BIOS with this new bios mod. UPDATE:JUST UPDATED AND WORKS!!!
And once more, thank you so much
Antinomy, would an option to disable Hyper-Threading be possible?

Hi,
Thanks for this great job Anthony!
But i didn't quite got it about the 4Gb RAM issue, with stock bios, we can see the 4Gb in bios as well as in windows (either x86 or x64).
Problem is, those 4Gb are not usable, only 3,5 are. In Windows x86 or x64, it shows 3.25 usable due to 256Mb for ION and 512Mb don't show due to hardware/bios(?) limitation..
My question is, with this mod, will we actually be able to use full 4gb?
Thanks.

No, but if you increase the video card memory from 256 to 512 at least you use a little more memory
Windows will use 3070MB and you will use another 512 for ION card, so it almost uses all the 4GB
By the way for the last 24 hours this BIOS is working great, I even increased all my scores in WEI, for example CPU from 3.2 to 3.6 :0
If only I could deactivate the Hyper-Threading crap

O.K. let's start clearing things out:
1) You tell that BIOS shows 4GB while Windows can see only 3 - is this correct (uncluding x64)? Means that some sort of hardware is eating the memory. I think I know which one. Might need some reports from diagnostic utilities from you guys.
2) Why would you want to disable HT? Does it decrease performance. And if it does, how?
