Hi,
My wireless card is not working currently (its a dud Atheros AR5009), so I'm looking at replacing it with an Intel 6230. I now realise that I cannot replace it with just any new card due to the HP whitelist unless I edit the BIOS.
If anyone could help with removing this whitelist from this BIOS file it would be much appreciated!!
The BIOS file is located here: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp51501-52000/sp51603.exe
Hopefully it is possible.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Best Regards.
EDIT: This may help after reading one of the stickies:
Current device H/W IDs
PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_002A&SUBSYS_3042103C&REV_01
