Hi,
Just wanted to report that camiloml's BIOS modification works for the Acer Aspire 5551, it reveals hidden menus.

I noticed that Acer's BIOS updates for both the 5551 and 5552 were identical, they even use the same identifier (BA/JE/HM/SJV5x-DN).
As has been reported though, there isn't any settings related to EFI functionality, it's sad as the BIOS is an EFI BIOS.
In the past I managed to obtain a dump of the EFI modules (..older version) using a python script written by someone else curious about customizing InsydeH20's UEFI firmware, sadly it's cumbersome and has a lot of hardcoded offsets.
Still, I wonder if it would be possible to add the reference EFI shell from the tianocore project? that would be a nice compromise, it would allow for further access to the EFI environment and potentially allow manually booting EFI/GPT aware operating systems.
Thanks camiloml, I appreciate what you've done, it would be nice if the procedure was documented somewhere.
P.S: Don't mess with the Video related settings on the Aspire 5551, one specific setting related to memory will force you to read the service guide and perform an emergency Fn+ESC flash.
