Guess it will not work from DOS. Better download a WINXP live cd and flash from windows.

BIOS REPOSITORY.Please consider donating (me or forum) if you like my work.
Please remember to come back and leave feedback. I hate leech and disappear thing.

Nice day.

I found this other topic: http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-Le...st-request
but i wasnt sure weither or not i could use that for my computer as well, seeing how we're not exactly the same model. Can i use that or do i your help to make me another BIOS for my system?
Checked http://www.bios-mods.com/BIOS but the file found there, is the same as the one linked in that topic, i believe, so the question above should still be valid. Hope im not wasting your time though :/

And also, just in general, exactly how risky is it to flash modded BIOS, compared to stock vendor BIOS? Would really be sad if i end up bricking my laptop Sad

Bios download link from manufacturer site.:
http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS018785

Current Wifi card:
1x1 11b/g/n Wireless LAN PCI Express Half Mini Card Adapter

PCI ID of the Wifi card that originally came with the laptop:
10EC8176
Wasn't quite sure how to find this, but in windows i went to device manager>properties of the wificard>details>hardware Ids and took the numbers after VEN_ and DEV_. So i believe they are correct.

Currently installed UEFI BIOS Version:
83ET66WW (1.36)
Date: 2011-10-31

Embedded Controller Version:
83HT27WW (1.11)

Wifi card to be installed:
Intel Cetrino Ultimate-N 6300
Model: 633ANHMW

Also, if i was ever to send this computer in for a repair with warrenty or whatever, would it be best to flash it back to a stock BIOS and put in the old wifi-card before shipping it, or what?

Thanks alot for your help! Smile

Model doesn't matter as far as the bios updater is the same, in your case 83uj20us.

If you find unlocked 83uj20us flash it whitout fear. Wink

First download through http://www.bios-mods.com/BIOS gave a corrupted file, but the download from dropbox, and the redownload from http://www.bios-mods.com/BIOS gave no crc errors and winrar checked them fine, so was prolly just a fluke with my connection.

I flashed it successfully and installed the new drivers etc. Seems to work flawlessly! Thanks alot man! Smile
