Dell XPS 420 Dell 2.1 SLIC

Hi.

Don't suppose anyone can make a modded BIOS for the Dell XPS 420?
I have looked around but it seems that nobody has.
It is locked so you cannot overclock anything.

If anyone can, i am sure it is someone on this forum

Thanks, slic 2.1 worked on this bios. The bois is still locked though (no overclocking).

No , phoenix bioses cannot be unlocked for hidden options

Hi everyone
I'm a noob here and I also have a Dell XPS 420 that I've just upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate from Vist Ultimate.
I upgraded the bios to A07 but it seems my slic is now version 2.2
I can't find a 7loader that works so after some research I found this mod bios with slic 2.1

Problem is. I'm scared to death that this might not work and kill my Dell.
Can anyone verify that it does work ok?
My other alternative is to wait till mid January when the activation nearly runs out and see if there is a 7loader for slic 2.2
Also is there a way to backup the original bios and recover it if necessary?

Slic 2.2 Doesnt Exist Yet!

There will always be a risk when flashing ANY bios , whether modded or official , whether tested or not. At the end of the day , its up to you to flash it and we wont be held responsible for what might happen!
