Here you go , i used Sony Vaio 2.1 SLIC + Certificate Included:-

1. Copy and paste ******.XRM-MS certificate file into C-Drive.

2. After pasting this file into C-Drive, go to START - ALL PROGRAMS - ACCESSORIES - COMMAND PROMPT. Right click on Command Prompt and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.

3. When Command Prompt opens, type at the prompt: slmgr.vbs -ilc c:\********.xrm-ms and hit the Enter Button. Wait for the Script Host to answer you with a message that the license was installed successfully....this could take a few minutes and so be patient.

4. After receiving the message that the license was installed successfully, type at the command prompt: slmgr.vbs -ipk *****-*****-*****-*****-***** (Replace with any OEM SLP Product Key for your installed version of Windows 7 , they are not hard to find).Be Patient and wait for the message to say that the Product Key was sucessfully installed. After it says successfully installed, reboot the computer.

5. When you are back at your desktop, go to START - COMPUTER - right click on Computer and choose PROPERTIES and see if it is activated with an OEM product ID.

Hi,

I tried adding SLIC(of HP) to Intel WVG4141H.86A.0016.EB BIOS (for DG41WV motherboard), however, using "Phoenix Tool" the bios is being modified, but when I updtae the BIOS, it is not getting updated, - get the "SLIC Dump" error and shows the "original RSDT & XSDT" values.

PLease help to modify the bios of my Intel motherboard DG41WV to add SLIC 2.1 table.

Below are the details:

Intel DG41WV

-Manufacturer: Intel
-Motherboard Model: Intel DG41WV
-SLIC Bin - HP
-Bios revision: WVG4141H.86A.0016.EB
-Bios Type: intel / AMI
-Bios Download Link: http://www.sendspace.com/file/vllmri
-RW Everything Report Download Link: http://www.sendspace.com/file/e27um5

Please let me know if you need more details.

Thanks

I have a VGN-FJ150 laptop. My DMI got erased. The machine name = "reserved"
my serial number = "reserved". Because of that I can not update my BIOS or any of the drivers from sony. Sony checks the DMI first before it does any updates. This machine use the same bios as the one you posted.

I like to change the following:
machine name VGN-FJ150

Could you give me some pointers on how to change my DMI and what tools I need to use to flash my BIOS. I had the vaio bios R0140X6.ROM from your previous post.

Thank in advance for your help.
