Hey people, I just got a few questions about replacing a laptop motherboard...
I bricked my laptop from a bad BIOS flash about a month ago.
Basically I have been without a laptop for about a month, so I really can't be bothered mucking around trying to fix that (if it is even possible). So I think I will by a new motherboard which should fix all my problems I have created for myself
I found a replacement from motherboardnow.com (here) that is supposedly for my specific laptop (HP dv6-3037tx).
Few questions:
Is replacing the motherboard as simple as swapping it with the old one?
Or is there a complex procedure that I would need to take it to a technician for?
Also does it come with all the removable components (e.g. RAM, Network card, Fan/heatsinks), or will I have to take these off of my old board?
Thanks
