CLEVO BIOS Mods

OK, two questions:

That looks like the regular P170HM without 3D screen?
When you go into bios, what BIOS revision is shown?

Your RAM doesn't have XMP profiles and since you are not using an Extreme CPU, the multipliers will remain locked, so XTU is quite useless in that case.
But one thing we could do is to keep it in Turbo Mode for longer, if that is what you want.

I have latest bios .05 and EC/KBC .09
The laptop is in option 3D (nvidia 3D vision) with glasses.

Thought it would be oc can be done as before, increase the voltage, to change the multiplier but it's probably only for extreme CPU holders, too bad really.
I played AMIBCP4.53 program and the only option that worked is to disable the logo screen after flashing BIOS. But after reboot I do not know why other settings return to default settings.

Be carefull with changing stuff in AmiBCP... ;-)

If you want I can make a custom bios for you with TDP of your choice.
Just let me know which long term and short term TDP you would like to have... ;-)

I become a tester if you want. (beta bios or something else) :-)))

I think that nothing has changed. Only temperature and TDP. Overclocking also has not changed. The XTU level as before I can give maximum 105 MHz FSB. More than 105 MHz as before leads to a restart.
I guess this is what my weak processor.
Everything is on the screenshot, sorry I have made them quickly :-)

As i said, you won´t be able to OC the multi on non XM cpu.

Of course it worked! Smile Just run your CPU benches, before and after your flash, then you will see a good boost with the mod you are using. That´s what the higher TDP and Turbo time is for. See extra temp doesn´t come out of nowhere. Wink

I would like to ask about WiFi (stock bios and modded). I have a card Intel Ultimate 6300 and when switching to the XTU reference clock to 105 MHz, up to 104 MHz (originally 100MHz) is suspended. The minimum OC turns off the card: (
Does anyone else have a similar problem?

PS. Prema. You are a guest! Tkanks U :-)

That's because with raising the blck you also raise the bus of the WLAN card...which version of XTU are you using?

I don't suppose you could send me a copy of the BIOS I would like to see if it fixes my 3D Vision problems - constantly complains that the display is not compatible.
