i would also be interested in the modification of the 1.20 bios version,also is there a changelog for these versions of bios ? the "what's changed" in the acer downloads center only says "BIOS"..

I found a few requests but all of them were in the wronf forum, so I thought nobody is going to notice them.

My acer 5750g is hot hot hot !!!
But the fan keeps low key even if the CPU temp rises to 80℃(TM2 point) and begins to reduce the frequency. Stupid acer !!!

Thus I strongly hope that V1.20 bios of 5750 can be unlocked for custom fan speed project.
I'v just found the 1.19 version unlocked which I will try tonight.

But,

The official bios of acer 5750 series had been updated frequently and ended up with v1.20 on March 26.

Now that it has been 3 months that the bios version kept in 1.20 , this might be the final-official-version of 5750 series , and so does the final-ulk-version will be if v1.20 is unlocked.

So please take a look at the 1.20 version (link bellow) and try to unlock it if possible

PS: the fan goes crazy when flashing BIOS ,so it is not the fan's fault of low top speed

v1.19 checked and results in negative ------ fan is still low in high temp and dis/enabling the thermal monitor makes no difference (still dropping frequency)

Iam also on 1.19 Bios and what u describe is normal
When iam @ BRiNK and log the temps and cpu is @ heavy load then we have easily reached 85°C and it goes up to 90-95 on some days depening on room temp.
I got no acer, but Packard Bell and our MoBo are the same only name changed...
At the unlocked bios u will find the fan settings with several functions in my case i wanted noiseless when i was working with battery but try my high sets
High CPU Temp: 100, Shutdown can be 100°C
Set the fanspeed to 100 (max) and the temp when its reached to 75
The Low input set to 75 @ fanspeed and the reach temp to 55°C
Hope it helps, but forget to find a bios what the Laptop cools the Fandesign is crap in this Series

i am manage to unlock the acer 5750G version 1.20 my gol is;
1-unlock hidden uefi boot in boot form (its complete now)
2-adding missing module to bios so it be able to boot in uefi(complete now)
3-unlock the advanced and power option(iits complete now)
for changing uefi option use F5 and F6 to disable or enable it enter not work in this form .if you want to boot in uefi set efi boot first to enable
the bios with advanced-power-and uefi menu is now completed and attached to post.

and the version 2 for hakintosh user some modification in power management module for solving the Intelcpupowermanagement.kext kernel panic.flash this version and enjoy the vanilla apple kexts(this version is useless for windows user )also add some model from uefi duet 2.31 .
