Acer Travelmate 7740g: Upgrade from core i5 to core i7

Hello everybody,

please, can someone unlock my Acer Phoenix Bios for my
Acer Travelmate 7740g, if it is possible?
I miss Intel Speed Stepping etc. options.

The Problem is:
I upgraded my cpu from an intel core i5-460m to an core i7-840qm.
The 4 cores are working , but the Turbo Boost Mode doesn`t work.

I would be greatful, if someone could do that !!!
