i need to enable ahci in my bios in order to install OSX on my notebook. i need to get this done asap and am willing to pay anybody willing. any effort is greatly appreciated.
Here is the link to the bios(f13) im on at the moment im new to this so i apologize if im leaving out important info. if there are any other details needed ill update asap thanks again!

I have the same computer, I was able to install LION without making any changes on the BIOS, but took me a while to figure it out, there are many KEXTs that you have to use in order to get everything working. Right now the only things that aren't working are the wifi and the camera for me, some users have been able to make the camera work without any modifications with versions 10.7.3 or lower, I am using 10.7.4. Let me know if you get a mod-BIOS hopefully will help with a cleaner installation.

If you're still trying, use a USB instead of the DVD for installation.

My System: HP DM4 14" Notebook

If you want to enable AHCI you first have to install the provided AHCI-drivers, then "update" your BIOS with our version and then you can go reboot your machine, activate AHCI in BIOS and restart Win7 and it should work... The Hackintosh-install is just to get known of the AHCI-enable-state!

I have the same model; but I don't use Windows 7 --that is why I would like to modify or replace BIOS, this BIOS will not allow XP to operate--; when I try this Win+B method, nothing happens (apparently I can't even ruin a perfectly functioning BIOS); if I boot from dos_stick, I get the excuse that this program cannot be run in DOS
