AHCI mode for Asus P5LD2-X/1333

Hi,

Could AHCI be enabled for Asus P5LD2-X/1333 ?
I am new to this forum and don't know much about bios modification.
I bought an SAMSUNG SSD 830 Series recently. Althought it works well on
my Asus P5LD2-X/1333, I heard that it's better to turn on the AHCI mode to achieve
the true performance. But my bios seems do not contain an option that can switch
between AHCI and IDE.
I searched on the Internet and find this forum. Now I know it's possible to modify
the bios to achieve what I need.

Can anybody help me with enabling achi for Asus P5LD2-X/1333 ?
