Flashing modified RSA signed HP BIOS
#1
I recently modified an RSA signed Insyde BIOS for someone, the mod itself wasn't a problem (I simply tweaked some things in the VBIOS option ROM), but now the problem is how to flash it?

I'm aware of the possible issues when it comes to flashing RSA signed BIOS which have been modified (semi-brick or even possibly total brick).
Still, I'm wondering whether there is a more or less simple way to flash such a BIOS.
The BIOS is an Insyde BIOS, the syste is an HP notebook.

What has been tried so far is using the stock flasher provided by the notebook vendor (HP), which obviously doesn't work.
No success with modifying the platform file or using an InsydeFlash version of non-RSA signed BIOS... Also an older, patched InsydeFlash version which I have found on this forum didn't work.

Is there any way to flash such BIOS?

Would be really cool since both the 650m and the 7850m used in recent HP notebooks have a lot of potential, a tweaked VBIOS could unleash some more power, but this won't work unless the BIOS can be flashed.

Hope someone can give me some advice! Thanks!!

how did you mod that bios i've been trying to do the same thing but not been getting anywhere i have an HP Pavilion G6-1154sa On the latest bios which is F.63 i've managed to flash a modified bios before which was for the bios version F.53 which caused a semi brick which i recovered from but still not willing to give up lol.

if you could help me out i'll also try to find away of flashing that bios for you by comparing what is different between the original and the modified to see if we can crack it
