Hi everyone,
I hope this is the right place to post. I have a Toshiba laptop. The laptop wont charge it's battery and the only fix is to update its bios. Toshiba have supplied a BIOS update with WinPhlash v1.6.8.4 (Running on Win7 32bit).
Every time I run it it hangs on the "Flash new bios" stage quoting a Error Code: 144.
This error is due to the battery being below 10% charge however as I stated above the laptop refuses to charge it. Essentially I need to know how to get around that "battery charge check" part of WinPhlash. I read running WinPhlash with the "/forceit" switch will do the trick however it makes no difference with my version.
I've also tried looking for earlier versions of WinPhlash in the hope that they wont do the battery check. I found one 1.3 version that doesn't do the battery check but instead it claims:
Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks.
