Hi,
my Dell Latitude E6500 cannot boot from SD card when it's inside the integrated Ricoh RL5C822 card reader (the SDIO host adapter)(the Ricoh integrated device is a set of 4 controllers : RL5C476 for cardbus + RL5C822 for SD + RL5C832 for IEEE1394 + RL5C843 for SD/MMC).
No problem at all with an usb card reader of course because the BIOS supports usb booting.
The difference is that SD card is flush when usb stick is protuberant.
Ggling found infos that I don't understand very well here : http://www.eltan.com/products/sd-boot.html
So what is the way to mod the BIOS in order to boot directly from SD without an usb adapter ?
link to the original BIOS : http://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER00490782...500A27.exe
Thanks for any help.
