Hp 6930p to q9000

hey guys, new to the forums

so heres the deal, im a quad maniac, multi task etc.
i got a 6930 here with the t9400
knowing the hp 8730w has the same chipset, i presumed the factory q9000 from one would work in my 6930, however i was wrong, caps lock and number lock just blinks

is there any added q9000 support for the 6930?
im going to try and get the bios for the 8730, i already have it for the 6930
