Hello,
Is there a way to enable control of RAM values (or improve its compatibility with a larger range of RAM) in the NT525's BIOS? The machine I have uses a 2GB stick of DDR2 800Mhz Cl5 RAM. I see that it supports 4GB in its single SODIMM slot, and happened to have a 4GB stick of DDR2 800Mhz Cl6 RAM (HP), but it refuses to boot with it installed.
Not the end of the world, but thought it might to useful to quite a few people beside myself who bought the model with the standard 2GB a few years ago and now realise they need more RAM.
In the forum, there's a modified AHCI BIOS here, which may be based on the P04 revision. The latest from the Foxconn website is P05, which is currently what I have installed.
Many thanks in advance if anyone can help.
