First, I must thank you for such a great MOD...

I have a few questions though, Have you recently updated OROM(s) since the release of 1601_S04?

What is ASUS SLIC? and when was it updated to 2.1?

There have been no updates since I made S04. SLIC is a method to activate Windows, try googling around and you'll find out more details.

I have been running the 11.6.0.1030 for a while now with no problems. they have been very stable with no memory leek. they can even be downloaded from intels site for those who prefer an intel package.

I have a tip for increased performance. but i am sure you guys already know about it. go to the device manager and go the the properties of your SSD, and under "policies" click the box for "turn off windows write cache buffer flushing" then go the the IRST manager, and under the "manage" tab click on your ssd and turn on "write back cache" to enabled. this will give you much better 4k writes. I got a nice boost, on my vertex 4 raid 0 setup.

Thanks for the tip, BigT. In my system it was already enabled by default, but I'm sure this doesn't happen with everybody's system.

your actually a bios GOD!! i just hope when I get a new rampage board in the future that you have the same one so I can have updated ORoms. your the best. its because of you i am keeping this board longer then I thought I would. I am going to get a third vertex 4 for my setup so i can get a ASSD score of 2000 or so and have some SUPER fast load times.

I hope intel smartens up and make an 8 core for desktop users. i could not justify the cost of an upgrade untill intel has an 8 cores to offer.
