Optiplex SX280 - Custom resolutions

Hi! sorry my english

I have a Dell Optiplex SX280, and is not capable of resolutions like 1920x1080, because this resolutions are not in the bios

I know the intel GMA 915 is capable of 1080p, because in Linux work great

Someone can hack the bios to make 1920x1080 available?


I tried to do myself, replacing for example 1920x1200 i will never use, folowing this guide

But im not sure how to do, and i dont wanna break my Dell !!
