Good day everyone,
I have recently tried to made modifications to the Asus' official bios for A8JS (v213) to support Geforce Go 7300 & 7700 vga cards. However when I tried the new bios with my friend's card (Go 7300) from an A8JC machine, there were only continuous shorts beeps during POST (indicating missing/unrecognised vga card). Everything was back to normal when I swapped the vga card to Go 7700 (A8JS' stock card).
As the Go 7300 card used in this testing was taken from an A8JC machine which had not been started for almost 2 years, I have my own doubts on its reliability too. Unfortunately, I do not have any other spare Asus reverse MXM cards to test around with and troubleshoot the problem. Therefore, I would appreciate if any experts can take a look at my modded bios and tell me if I am doing anything wrong. If there are people brave enough to try out my bios on their own machines (DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK!), please kindly let me know if you faced the same symptoms as me.
Cheers!
