bios updating problem: mercury/KOBIAN PI945GCM

i have good powersupply.as i hav corsir cx600.it has 600watt power.
so can u help me in updating my motherboard rom n my graphic card would work.

I think the problem is about the PCI-E support. You board supports PCI-E 1.0 and the card is PCI-E 2.0. This problem is not common but I've seen such incompatibility only with a 1.0 board and 2.0 card combination. I'll ask if the videocard can be flashed to claim that it's a 1.0 card (it helped with VIA chipsets and worked with NV cards). Didn't see such a feature with BIOS modding tools for AMD cards.

Did the card finally work?

I am facing a similar problem. I was initially using a nvidia 9500 gt which was also PCI-E 2.0 but still worked without any issues. I replaced it with a gt 220. I am not able to install drivers for the new card.

After looking into the device manager, I saw a yellow exclamation beside intel® 945G/GZ/GC/P/PL/ PCI express Root Port - 2771 and an error message in its properties which says "Your computer's system firmware does not include enough information to properly configure and use this device. To use this device, contact your computer manufacturer to obtain a firmware or BIOS update. (Code 35)"

My motherbord and BIOS specs are exactly same as mohit's.
