Hello,
My wifi card died and I bought a new one, which turns out to be whitelisted on my hp laptop. I don't know anything about programming. I vaguely understand what a bios is and what a whitelist of wifi cards is.
I have an HP Pavilion dv7, about 2 years old
Windows 7 64bit
My system information says
Bios: Hewlett-Packard F.29 11/7/2011
My new wifi card is an Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 Model 633ANHMW
When physically installed, I got one of those 107 (or 104; I don't remember) errors that said the wifi card wasn't licensed/authorized and that I must remove it and reboot.
My old card was an Intel Centrino N 1000.
Is it possible to either add my new card to the whitelist OR remove the whitelist altogether?
Did I provide enough information? Please help, if you can. I am moving in a month to a place where wifi is my only option!!
