Hello,

I want to replace the standard wireless card with an 802.11n card. I get the infamous 104 error when I did replace, unsupported wireless card.

I found a thread talking about white-listing the wireless adapters, http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-HP...0-dv5283ea. It claims that it's for all DV5000 models. The bios is contained in an exe file called 30A5F24.

I'm looking for additional confirmation since it was written 2 years after my laptop was released.

The actual bios files(*.wph) are both the same size.
