Is there a best choice for flashing this rom? (a AMI bios flash tool for windows/dos)

AS there is no rom to download from S0NY...i'm kinda guessing.. I have to look outside the box
Winflash does not work.. (says unsupported)

?
Thanks

SOVEM

You rule!

Perfect. It is now 2.1 Smile
I can tell.. "you've done this before" Smile

Can I be cheeky..
I was thinking I had to suffice with another problem..
but you seem like you could fix.

I have a Acer Ferrari 4005 WLMI
It has a modded flash (2.1) but with HP

Can you change it to be an acer one?

Bios revision: 3A27
I have attached the HP SLic version...

Also.. Is there a tool (i remember there being one.. that would detect your bios/and slic..and insert the right key...and cert)

Was it Microsoft Toolkit.. or was it something else..?
I only have a handful of certs (HP acer etc) but no Sony...but i was sure there is a tool that takes the hard work out...

Thanks again...in advance for Acer one.. but post for the Sony

Smile
