hello,
hope this is the right forum here.
I have an older Asrock Board, Model G43Twins-FullHD(http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/G43Twins-FullHD/), and would like to mod the bios with an newer Intel Raid ROM, because of my new ssd.
Unfortunately Asrock only provides an dumb exe file which instantly executes the bios Update, an both dos and win! I tried everything, every unpacker i could found, but nothing was able to extract the rom file.
I red here in the forum that it is definitely possible, to extract it using winhex. But how do you extactly do it? I've tried but only thing i see was the plain hex code!
Pls could you help me with this. I still wonder how did asrock pack it.
As the last step i upload both versions, so you could try to extract it!
thx in advance
