Yeah, I know its an old tread
I have the same Packard Bell Argo C With bios v0.20 and a Celeron 430. No OS yet, not shure if it runs win x64, so I have not decided.
If someone knows what I can Upgrade to, I apreciate it

Your laptop is based on RC410M chipset.
All CPUs for Socket M are supported.
T7200, T7400, T7600(G) are recommended for upgrade.
Official maximum of memory - 2 Gb, unofficial - 3 Gb.

Thanks man
Well, the 7600G is a no-og, since it is fairly costly Maybe a T7600 or the cheap t7400
Have any idea of config of ram (mhz and so) I should get?

One 2GB SODIMM with 16(!) chips and one 1Gb SODIMM with 8 (!) chips.
Or two identical 1Gb SODIMMs.

I guess it is not possible to run Win10 x64 on this Laptop, due to not NX-support?
I`m running win7 x64 pro with T7400 cpu and 3 gb ram as you recommended - Works great
Yeah, I know its an oldie, but after bios-upgrade, a lot of settings disseapeared, but that was maybe useless setting, I dont know
