Could someone please remove the wireless card (half (mini?) pci ) whitelist from the bios of the Thinkpad T430 (2342 CTO).
The card that I have in now is an Intel centrino 6300 wireless n ultimate card,
I would like to replace it with the Intel Wireless-AC 7260 with Bluetooth card
The bios update utility is here: http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/...uj24us.exe
Let me know if any more information is needed.
Thanks in advance, and I will certainly make a donation if my problem is resolved.
P.S. I would like to know where I can learn to modify bioses, and per-requisite knowledge required.
Thanks
JLL

Just checked them out, they seem really expensive (around $1K). Are those what you are referring to? Are there any alternative methods? Maybe you can point me toward some cheap ones.
Thanks, I appreciate the help.
