First of all I want to thank you for great development on this wide-spread platform.
I've been using this moddified BIOS for a long time, on mine Packard-Bell TS11, with almost full satisfaction. The only flaw, and I think that is due to ACER, is the fan control that doesn't work.
So, after starting to get some heat problems (I've upgraded my i5-2410m to i7-2630qm), and after cleaning up e changing thermal paste, i found that my GPU (540m) hit 95ºC easily and then throttling down to cool off.
Said that, after some research i find myself changing akbar BIOS, with a VBIOS for NVIDIA 540m with lowered voltage:
Idle: 0,83v
Full: 0,85v
For me that worked, it is stable under full load, but probably won't work for everyone. My temps are now hiting 90ºC after 1h of full load, with Turbo enabled on the CPU, and NO Throttle.
I attach the file for anyone that want to give it a Try.
Be aware that it MAY NOT WORK for everyone.
It work so sweat . love u so much wanna have [censored] with u kidding LOL.

for changing uefi option use F5 and F6 to disable or enable it enter not work in this form .if you want to boot in uefi set efi boot first to enable
the bios with advanced-power-and uefi menu is now completed and attached to post.
and the version 2 for hakintosh user some modification in power management module for solving the Intelcpupowermanagement.kext kernel panic.flash this version and enjoy the vanilla apple kexts(this version is useless for windows user )also add some model from uefi duet 2.31 .

Hi, i have the same Notebook Packard-Bell TS11 with the GT 540M 2GB. I downloaded and installed this BIOS but it dont works correct for me.
Idle: 1,00v
Full: 0,83v
Yes you read correct.
Anyone got an idea or maybe know how to make an proper BIOS for my Notebook with the following voltages?
I used nuno169 bios my laptop is
cpu i5-2410m
acer 5750g
gpu GT540m
whenever I tried gaming after a few minutes the screen freezes and then blackscreen. I was able to go out by ctrl+alt+del. when I check the temperature is 90c. how can I solve the blackscreen? please help?

Hi serexon,
i had also overheating problems with my Packard-Bell TS11 HR, i5-2410m, 8GB, 1TB, GT 540M 2GB. I was able to reduce the heat over 20c... with the following things.
1. Opened the notebook
2. Removed all the dust from cooling system
3. Removed old thermal paste (it was so crappy done)
4. Put new artic silver 5 paste on
5. closed the notebook
6. break some plastic away which is in front of the fan, so it has now way more air to breath (on the downside)
7. break some plastic away in front of the cooling rips (maybe not sooo useful but i did it) so the ait can go more straight out of my notebook
8. flashed the undervolt BIOS for GT540M (0,83V instead of 0,98V on the GPU + same corespeed)
Ingames i got now about 70c maxium (CPU + GPU) with Turboboost (2x 2,7Ghz) and NO throttling! Before i had sometimes up to 90-95c and throttling.
So I was able to reduce the heat over 20c -25c, i was impressed! I thought i only could reduce 5-10c, but not that much.
