HP Sleekbook 14-b109sa BIOS FAILURE

Hi,

I was updating my BIOS laptop with the official HP update but after the reboot my laptop is only showing a black screen and the light on caps lock on. I read that it can be happend due to a failure during the update and I could restore the BIOS with an USB sitck.

I used the HP UEFI Support Environment to format the USB key and all directories were created. I alsa downloaded the BIOS update from the HP website but when I extract it I only have the .BIN files but not the .SIG files required to reboot with the USB key.

The laptop its only 2 days all and I have a nice brick on my table.

Use Andy's tool to decrypt the biso which will generate the rom and sig file necessry for recovery. I made a tutorial about it here
