I've resolved my issues now. I downloaded the latest bios mod that Oleh uploaded and had success...
For anyone else who reads this in future, My previous bios version was the official A16. I have a *i7-3610QM* (plus Win7 64bit, though I'm not sure if that matters)! Many people are having issues trying to use this mod on their 3630QMs. Going by what I have heard; I would *not* recommend using this mod on a laptop that has the 3630QM!
For anyone who has a 3610QM and wants to give this a go... You can ignore the guide in the sticky on this forum as it seems to flash with a different approach. I just opened up Oleh's package and used the usb boot tool contained there, dropped the 4 other files onto the usb too (there was 7 in total if since I'd installed the dos boot thingimajig). Loaded up the USB on a reboot and typed "flash" and sat back and watched it do it's thing (while praying a little). After a minute or so of several progress meters it said it was complete. I now have a *TON* of extra bios options (some are obviously not for the hardware I have).
Again I must reiterate what is said on this forum again and again, no one else can be responsible if you brick your bios except you. I'm just letting you know that this worked for me, with my setup.
Thanks for your work Oleh.
