HOW TO FLASH MODIFIED OR ORIGINAL BIOS
#1
Lightbulb
Hi All ,

I thought about writing this thread as i see there are alot of problems for members with flashing their own original PHOENIX bioses or the Modified bioses in this section .
The process is very easy , just follow these steps :-

1 ) You`d better flash from dos using a bootable usb drive .......... you should have any bootable USB or floppy .
2 ) Download the HP tool which will make your floppy or USB bootable & the DOS98 files from this link :

http://www.mediafire.com/?1b2zr67o1y5v4gr

3 ) Create the Bootable USB or FLOPPY using the tool with options in this pic :-

4 ) Copy the BIOS.WPH ( original or modified ) to the USB drive and copy the PHLASH16.EXE as well ( provided in the previous link with the HP tool ) .

5 ) Boot from the USB drive and write this command after it boots :-

PHLASH16 /S /X /FORCE
then press ENTER .

The bios will be flashed and don`t interrupt this process in any way as it will make your bios bricked .

Thank you

Ahmed,
I have been here all of this AM and I can see all the work you do. I am trying to make my HP Dv6700 my own and not HP's. I have a terrible internet connection and have to return numerous times to get everything. You have enlightened me and I Thank You very much for that.

When I try, this is the error it gives me.

Phoenix Phlash16 Error.
Flash interface driver too big!

PRESS ANY KEY TO REBOOT!

My DELL Inspiron 1564 Laptop. BIOS A13

The main reason, why I want to change the BIOS is giving the error, not recognizing the charger.

Forgive my poor English.Huh
