Hey guys i have a Lenovo twist s230u 4337-4hu(thats the whole model number
heres the bios link
http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/...uj16us.exe
it installs on ur pc then in install folder you will see the bios file the extension of the file is .FL1
i want to change the wifi card on it to a new one(7260 intel)
Current card vendor id(Broadcomm 802.11n)
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4359&SUBSYS_060714E4&REV_00
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4359&SUBSYS_060714E4
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4359&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4359&CC_0280
New card vendor id(7260 intel)
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B1&SUBSYS_40708086&REV_73
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B1&SUBSYS_40708086
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B1&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B1&CC_0280
i believe this is an insyde bios, not completely sure though, i tried the software available on this forum to mess around with it, but all this is greek to me so far. i got to the point where it broke it down to modules and from the module i even found where my current cards ID is located but thats as far as i can get, once i got that far and tried again the software(andys tool) kept crashing so i gave up. if anyone here can help i would really appreciate it.
thanks.
