Did you succeed in updating the BIOS?

I have a T430s and would really like to swap my N with the new 7602 AC
Latest bios http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/...uj12us.iso

Would appreciate a simple guide if possible, and also a confirmation that the hardware eeprom programmer works.

Cheers

sovem, is there an explanation anywhere of what the difference is that requires a hw programmer flash of T430/T530 bios's? Why are they different from other Lenovo bios? Since T430/T530 bios updates from Lenovo are done with an executable pgm couldn't this pgm be modified to bypass (branch around) whitelist check and then run to update bios? Is there something enbedded in bios that prohibits this? Idea

[REQUEST] Lenovo Thinkpad T430 2.62 G1UJ29US (UEFI BIOS G1ETA2WW) whitelist removal request (2014/01/20)

Am using a Thinkpad T430-2349-G6U and wanted to know it's possible (without the use of a hardware flash programmer) to remove the whitelist from the UEFI BIOS G1ETA2WW update released on (2014/01/20).

Lenovo Thinkpad T430 2.62 G1UJ29US (UEFI BIOS G1ETA2WW) BIOS files:
http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/...uj29us.exe
http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/...uj29us.txt

Want to move from a Intel 6205 (PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0085&SUBSYS_13118086&REV_34) to an Intel 7260 and haven't seen successful updates since the breakthrough from /u/ucupsz in the thread over here: (http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-RE...3#pid58843)

Other users seem to have a similar interest (http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-RE...l-G1ET41WW) and wondered if there's a working process to remove the whitelist for G1ETA2WW? Hope you have a great one!!
