Hello guys!
I would like to install an Atheros Wi-Fi into my Lenovo Z500 for Hackintosh install.
My current WiFI Adapter is a Intel Wireless-N 2230
I can't find the original bios: 71CN44WW(V1.17)
My custom bios by Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0.exe:
http://rghost.ru/52578210
Please, could someone remove the whitelist?
Thanks very-very-very much and sorry for bad english!
Cheers.

I have done new version 1.21 71CN51WW(V1.21) it's the same as for P400 and as yours :
http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/download...D=DS032587
To flash new modded bios It needs to flash before Oiginal same version to update internal data eeprom and then flash the modded one !
So if your is below 1.21 You have to update first original Lenovo bios to 1.21, from Lenovo link download and run program to upgrade.
As You know there isn't on net a Lenovo Bios Recovery Procedure, meanwhile other manufacturers give this possibility to the users.
But Lenovo use Phoenix Insyde H2O bios and there would be this chance It use an USB DOS Bootable formatted USB stick with decompressed bios
into and then switching on the laptop pressing FN + Esc key It start to reflash bios in eeprom.
Every manufacturer use own method so we can have FN + Esc key or Win + B or FN+ B look here :
http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/IdeaPad-S-se...d-p/176976
All this to say that if do You want to try this method as none on Lenovo has done, I can give the Original Generalized Bios Extracted
from that upgrade You used or I will do a safest mod on your backup and It will be only for your laptop as inside are all your data serial UUID etc.
I asked as many guys want to experiment to find a way to downgade or recovery laptop from a brick.
Second way I used on Lenovo, but first and second I used on Acer and haven't problem, so let me know and I will post the mod file.
regards

Hello, BDMaster!
Thanks for answer!
I downloaded new BIOS from your link above.
I flashed my BIOS one minute ago. As I can see my laptop is still working fine.

Okay, if the second method is more safe, then I will use it.
Is there any risks that I can get a brick instead laptop?
