I tried the steps in OP and it didint do anything.

How do I find the tables to set?

Hi ! I have to get AHCI enabled in order to use my new SSD+HDD. Can you help me ? I can't enable it in my BIOS settings. It's blocked !

Hello Falseclock,

Hope this isn't off-topic, i'm having a very hard time understanding all the information around the forum.
I managed to extract the most recent bios for a precision m6600 and I'm managing to open and read it with MM-Tool, but I have no idea where to go from here to start unlocking features, and BD-Master advised me to look into your work (at which I'm scratching my head at in confusion).

I don't know whether or not this is an Insyde Bios, encrypted or not, if it's accessible via EFI or not, though I assume all 3 of the above are a yes. Could you take a look at this dump and give me your opinion?

As I said, managed to open the file with MM-tool but have no idea where to go from there, how to interpret the information and what should be or can be altered/rewritten.

Afaik, dell precisions haven't been unlocked until now, and there's a whole lot of owners that wish they were.

I noticed that some modifications I made in setup_var are showing me the title: DPTF Configuration in the advanced tab witch is not normaly seen. I think that this is making my setup slow when I press F2.

May I accidentaly discovered how to unhide items througt setup_var ?

I'm told that it is almost impossible to produce a custom BIOS for my EliteBook 8760w (Bios: 68SAD Ver. F.40). My basic need is to install the Intel AC 7260 wireless card.

I just want a confirmation of this constraint. If it is the case I will no longer search "for the impossible"...

Hi falseclock , My pc is a HP elitebook 2570p which comes with a i5-3360m cpu. when I change with a i7-3840qm 45w 2.8 - 3.8 ghz, the bios is locked
at 35w by the bios so cannot go any higher than 3.3ghz with temps of approx 80 degrese celcius. Please I would like to have full control of the cpu and igpu (disable the bios 35w limit) for use with intel xtu (overclock)
