one question , when i unpack that bios.exe file with universal extractor how come that original fd file is not there ??

i was checking those programers ant hw tools it doesnt need to desolder chip looks like it can stay untouched and i just attach that big crocodile onto bios chip and will read info ,.. no ?

For the first qustion, run the update file and there will be a folder at %tmp% with your fd.

For the 2nd question,

Yes, totally right, with a SOIC8 Test clip (Search on ebay) you can flash without desoldering from motherboard, this works on most of the computers AFAIK.

something like this

I really need it as stuff is set wrongly in this laptop !

1. VMX Disabled
2. HD 4400 set to 64MB only (my tablet has 128MB)

Wow, in a good laptop as yours, vt-x is disabled? wtf... also, my hd4000 is set to 256mb i guess
Good thing about doing with a EEPROM programmer is that you can always recover from any bad flashing, we'll be good, just cross fingers for adapter and test clip work

Hi you know what is weird in HW Info summary says RED is disabled
but in diagnostics says it is enabled .. so I have no idea now !

Another thing;
Can you confirm that I can buy even this EEPROM Programmer or it is different ?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V...TQ:GB:1123

I've ordered that from china but they said it will take months to deliver OMG

I think this one is different... I dont know it it will work.. I think no

http://www.ebay.com/itm/24-25-series-EEP...35c9c172f3

Any of these 2 should work, however I'm most sure on the first one...
And yes, buying from china takes months to deliver! I'm waiting for mine for 2 weeks now :p
