Ok guys I'm finally back.

I just downloaded the last file Republic of gamers posted. When I unzipped the file it has a .bin file, but my bios is an .fd file.
I renamed it just to see what would happen and the insyde flash tool came back with an error. It said please update with the same type of bios (2.x)

Ok used the above file. I setup the usb, and then did the steps of removing the batter holding down the power button. When I got to the step of holding Fn and Esc. the usb drive started to flash and the fan came on. after minute or two the splash screen came up and windows loaded. I rebooted into the bios, but if the flash worked I see no difference or new menus.

Ok friend,
use this tool and run It as Administrator It will generate a result file, then upload it here, so i can look all about your Eeprom Memory and protection :

http://rghost.net/52417082

Then use SLIC Dump TooKit v.3.2 to get Slic status as I forced Slic 2.1 Permanent in Modded Bios, so if It is been flashed We can look it :

http://rghost.net/54273572

run it and upload all 4 menu tabs screen shots here and if posible upload Bios Menu Tabs screen shots too !

I will wait your reply

One thing I wasnt clear about in the emergency flash instruction. After you unplug the battery and hold the power button for ten sec. Do you plug the battery back in? or leave it disconnected while you do the flash?

Yes I know as if You look into result file (unpack it) You'll find screen Shots of your FPT executions with errors and Others.
But the Slic is 2.1, I don't know if before Recovery Mode You just had Slic 2.1 active, so i cannot say Yes We flashed Bios,
but I can sign into bios so You can look my sign into screen Menu Tabs !
So I will do it and repost the mod here quickly.
I will post too a Bios Mod to flash by FPT 8.1 from USB Dos using prr tool to unprotect Eeprom memory.
Regards

Here Bios Signed, download, unpack and rename it as ecovery Name File HB2X64.fd, put in your USB and
use Recovery Mode to reflash it :

http://rghost.net/54380876

If new Bios is been wrote You'll see my sign in screen where was Rev. 3.7 now You'll see BDMaster.
Then We can be shure that It is been write in Eeprom and method works !
Let me know
Regards

Ok I tried to flash the new file first with fpt and prr still get error 28.... Then I tried the emergency flash . Again the fan comes on and runs like it's doing something but nothing has changed in the bios.... All I'm trying to do is move my video memory up a little. The option is there just greyed out. Starting to think it's not possible.

I have signed bios so into browser there will be my signature, please upload
some screen shots Menu Tabs !
I will check it and will say if Recovery worked !
To modify some settings We have to mod EFI Code too, but first We have to find a way to reflash bios !

I'll post some screen shots as soon as I'm home. In the bios screen it just says Rev 3.7,and not your name. I have noticed in other forums people talking about a modified InsydeFlash tool. Donovan6000 even talks about modding it on his blog, but Im having trouble finding the file to download.
