My X220 already has BIOS 1.37. Is it necessary to install it again or can I just flash it?

You can flash modified only.
Possible to downgrade to this BIOS from 1.39? If not, I'll make a request thread for that.

Hi there,
I bought a Intel Wireless-AC 7260 + Bluetooth, PCIe Half Mini Card (HMWWB) and I'm unsure if I have to flash my BIOS. Afaik these card isn't official supported by Lenovo (the newest is the Intel 6300).
So my question is, If I have to flash my BIOS.
If yes, please create a mod for v1.39 and as LiveCD, cause I don't run Windows.

I have a Thinkpad x220 Tablet (i5-2520M(2.50GHz), 8GB RAM, 320GB 7200rpm HD, 12.5in 1366x768 LCD, Intel HD Graphics, Intel 802.11agn wireless, Bluetooth, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure Chip, Fingerprint reader, Camera, 6c Li-Ion,Win7 Pro 64), Bios 1.39
pached for wwan erricsson Ericsson F3507g but i can't boot MAC osx install usb can anyone help me out with a mod that removes wwan whitelist and ALSO lets me install mavericks...

I use this version of Hiren's Boot CD with WinXP and Win7 included so You can boot from them and use normaly to do almost all :

I downloaded it from a other site, but there is no mini XP inside. I tried to used but these tool, but it only works at windows, but not at Linux....
Any hints?
