You have to flash back Bios from Windows Desktop and not from Dos !
It works only if done manualy !

"Now to flash from Windows open Prompt Comand as Administrator
(CLI Administrator rights) You got a window C:\ :

You have two FPT programs into folder

1st is w = 32bit 2nd w64 = 64bit It depends from your Windows

FPTw -f biosbackup.bin -bios

FPTw64 -f biosbackup.bin -bios
"
Sovem Posted a Bios Modded Generalized (for all users and don't needs Bios Backup anymore), so can use that one, then open a CLI as Administratore and execute the comand for your system x32 or x64 !
Let me know Regards

Ok friend,
I want to say for all users and hope You will read all thread to understand what We have done and efforts to help anyone !

Sovem has realized this Bios Genealized flshable from FPT :

Confirmed Work !!!!

This is a big solution for all users as You ! It don't needs a Bios Backup and can be flashed quickly !
Only restriction is to flash it from Windows :

for all users You have to use this procedure :

1. Dowload, unpack Sovem file, rename as FPT copy in C:\ (starter HD)
2. Execute from Windows Prompt Comand as Administrator (CLI interface)
4. Use FPT 9.5 (Sovem FPT folder) to reflash manualy as shown below.

If do You want I can modify your backup, but It's unnecessarily !

Ok only Recovery Mode can do the miracle (Bios Bootblock I think is saved).
Download and unpack file uploaded here, then use USBimage.exe to clone-back on your USB Stick the USB image file with Recovery File into and use Recovery Procedure as readme say :

Hi friend,
I can say that in all my research I haven't found Others way to recover bios.
This is Phoenix Recover Procedure and Insyde follow that, can be different keys couple to be pressed at startup (any manufacrurer can implement his own), so You can get Fn + Esc, Fn + B, etc. and many different bios name recovery !
Insyde is almost quite in this and when PMTool gives the name It's really.
Trought the years Bios is going to change and protect himself, so now It's Capsulated or Signed, etc. but Always to work It needs to be Decrypted and Decapsulted ro the risk is Brickking laptop.
To work Bios Recovery Procedure needs that Bios BootBlock is safe and working !

Hi BDMaster, I updated according to your instructions and everything ok.
Just a question. Is possible to recover the serial number that appears on the information from the bios "123456789" for the original, before flashing?

There are two ways :

1. Use a Bios Backup to reflash your original Significant Data
2. Use DMI Acer Tool to rewrite (if You know your own)

Let me know, so i will upload DMI Utiltity.

Laxxas tried to flash a modified bios, but it failed. There was no possibility to reflash a original bios via recovery mode, so laxxas must send the notebook to acer to repair.

greets

Yes I thinks He used a Capsulated Bios Mod thinking that was so easy, but
Capsulated Bios si longer size than Decapsulated and HRV will be found in a different position (offset Hex location) and Bios cannot start himself no more !
