With Windows Telephone activation. I finally got a valid Windows...But the SLIC-Entry is lost.
Can i recover the slic entry from my backup?

In your bios backup, slic not found!!!!!

For insert slic, use tool: Lenovo_G780_MARKER

1. Create USB boot FLASHDISC
2. Copy there MARKER.EXE , SLP2MARK.BIN, CLR.BAT, SET.BAT
3. In DOS type:
CLR.BAT [pak ENTER]

SET.BAT [pak ENTER]

very strange. Bevor i flashed the Bios showed me a valid Windows8 licence.
Is my backup not complete? Where is the licence information?

Recover your tool the licence Information from the Windows installation or what does it?

No, it not Recover tool. It is tool for insert slic (for win7)
For win8, no need slic.

For flash your bios backup:
Rename your backup (x64_bios-region_8.1.10.1286.bin) to advnwl.bin, then flash from DOS (same as flash bios mod)

Hi guys. I have 8.04 BIOS (WL removed) on my G780 laptop now.
Will i have any improvements if i upgrade BIOS to 9.01? Is it possible at all for me to use somebody's BIOS from here?
