@ Andyz: I tried to flash the bios that Sovem posted for me, but it didn't work, which is why I haven't bothered replying until now (I saw your recent posts). My result.rar also had errors similar to yours (protected range registers, etc). Let me know if it works out for you, I'm really interested in getting this done. Otherwise I will have to pay a technician to do a flash with a BIOS hardware programming device, and I hear that is both complicated and expensive.

@ Sovem: Can I take the BIOS mod file that you provided to Andyz, and then flash it to my PC, or will this not work? Thanks!

AutoMod (thanks to all modders and to CodeRush an extra)

Using CodeRush Tool UEFIPatch + Patches.txt, We can do the Mod by ourself, in any time and wherever We are !!!

Just use the right Patches.txt for the own Bios Version, so for your Bios use this one !!!

How to use ?
It's easy, just do a biosbackup.bin file and drag&drop on UEFIPatch.exe (the Patches.txt file has to be togheter at tool)
It will reply with a file patched, then rename that file as bios.bin, put It into modified folder where are all rest tools
to re-flash the Bios Mod and copy all files from modified folder to an USB Dos Formatted Bootable Stick and Boot from USB !
Then, reboot the laptop and at CLI Prompt Comand run flash.bat That's It all !

CodeRush Tool (above)

Modified folder with all tools to re-flash Bios Mod from USB, follow instructions (above)

Update from pure DOS with USB-bootable stick (You can use Rufus also)
See how to make one here:

http://www.howtogeek.com/136987/how-to-c...usb-drive/

https://rufus.ie/

Copy the "Modified" folder contents into the stick and boot in DOS mode and
Run Flash.bat to update.

Don't touch Video Settings or Disable Video Card It will Brick laptop !!!

Please post results.
This mod for your PC only!!!

I hope It will become the New Mod Way !!!

Here Patches from 28 to 89 (above)

BD Masters. Sorry for me to go further I would need some step by step instructions. It is a little out of my normal area of expertise.

Could you provide a step by step instruction. Here is a screen shot of the error message if this helps.

Thanks again.

Ok Manualy :

1. Prepare an USB Dos Formatted Fat32 Bootable Stick using this tool :

http://www.howtogeek.com/136987/how-to-c...usb-drive/

2. Copy all files from "modified" folder into thr Root of your USB Stick

3. Disable SecureBoot into your Bios if active

4. execute these comands :

prr.exe (hit enter) and wait for message on display (report It here)

fpt.exe -f bios.bin -bios (hit enter) and wait for message on display (report It here)

This is for Windows execution :

1. Unpack this folder and copy modified folder in C:\ Hardisk, then rename It to mod

http://rghost.net/56058514

2. Open a Comand Propmt with Administrator rights and get a C:\ prompt, then using cd comand type cd mod to get mod directory as current !

3. Execute this comand :

fptw.exe -f bios.bin -bios (hit enter) and wait for message on display (report It here)

Last chance is Recovery File, so post your Original Bios link here and I will give a look !

Let me know
regards
