Really appreciate you working on it for me
But, I have a problem here... Sad
I am using Windows 8.1 x64, And this PHLash does not run under 64 bit. I tried to run this under my other computer XP x86, it works but there Error is:

Invalid FlashInt.bin

I also did it under Dos ( bootable USB) by running this command manually:
ph161700 /x /FORCE /O /C /S R0290Q2.ROM

Getting same error: Invalid FlashInt.bin

If You have Win8 m be there is SecureBoot active, this protect Bios from modifiying !
Look into Bios about SecureBoot setting !

I would do a recall of tests :

1. Flashing Mod Bios using InsydeFlash OK (not true same as before) so KO
2. Flashing Signed Mod Bios InsydeFlash OK (not true same as before) so KO
2. Flashing from DOS by PH161700.EXE KO
3. FPT Intel KO

Now the only way to try reflash Modded Bios is the Recovery Procedure (It needs in Phoenix/Insyde Bios to recover laptop when a flashing goes wrong).

EFI / Insyde BIOS
Recovery filenames are:

SonyX64.fd

SLIC header found in 7E374E25-8E01-4FEE-87F2-390C23C606CD_815.ROM at 0
Pubkey found in 1A1E2341-A2FB-42C7-8D17-3073D08EB21D_971.ROM at 0

'SLIC' string found in AFC04099-0D39-405D-BE46-846F08C51A31_826.ROM at 7F3
OEM/Table IDs identified are:
1. INSYDEMontevia
2. Sony VAIO
Header (INSYDEMontevia MSFT) (x1)
Pubkey (x1)
Marker (2.0) (Sony VAIO ) (x1)

Using PMTool 2.54 We can see your Bios Rcovery Name and takeing the Bios and renaming it as SonyX64.fd You can try to flash t into Eeprom by Recovery Procedure !
So get Bios into mine Modded Bios Foder and rename It as SonyX64.fd then prepare an USB Dos Fat32 Formatted Stick and copy It into then follow this :

-. Performing the emergency flash:

- Shutdown the netbook (notebook)
- Remove all peripheral devices
- Remove battery, Remove AC power cord
- Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds (battery and AC power still out), then release
- Put the USB Memory Stick in the USB port
- Hold "Fn" + "Esc" and plug the AC power cord in
- Now press the power button (whilst still holding Fn + Esc).
Wait until the fan will run, then release "Fn" + "Esc" keys
- The fan will run for about 2-10 minutes and the USB drive activity LED will blink
- I think the netbook rebooted automatically. If it doesn't, unplug the AC power cord once the fan has turned off

The bios should be updated with the modified BIOS, and boot as per normal.

Hello dude

Where can I find that SonyX64.fd and PMTool?

Ok friend,
I said take mine first Modded Bios and copy the Bios File (R0290Q2.ROM) into a different place !
Then rename It as he Recovery Name produced from PMTool (Andy Tool can get the Recovery Name which is hidden ino Bios File) in your case SonyX64.fd !
So rename that file copied before from R0290Q2.ROM to SonyX64.fd and put It into an USB Stick prepared for Recovery Procedure !
This is the Recovery Procedure :

- Performing the Emergency flash (Recovery Procedure) :

- Shutdown the netbook (notebook)
- Remove all peripheral devices
- Remove battery, Remove AC power cord
- Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds (battery and AC power still out), then release
- Put the USB Memory Stick in the USB port
- Hold "Fn" + "Esc" and plug the AC power cord in

- I think the netbook rebooted automatically. If it doesn't, unplug the AC power cord once the fan has turned off

The bios should be updated with the modified BIOS, and boot as per normal.

To prepare an USB Stick just Format It in Fat32 Dos Mode !

This is your Recovery File just put It into USB Stick Dos Formatted and try !

P.S. not Always this procedure works !

It's a Recovery so not needs Rufus !
Only format your USB Stick in Fat32 and copy tht file into root, that's It
then use Recovery Procedure, if It don't work may be is connected to the pair Keys to hit :

Win + Esc
Win + B
Win + F

Fn + Esc
Fn + B
Fn + F

•Ctrl+Esc
•Alt+Esc
•Fn+Esc
•Win+B
•Fn+B
•Win+R
•Fn+R
•Ctrl+Home
•Fn+Home
•Alt+End
•Ctrl+End
•Ctrl+F5
•End

•combinations of Ctrl, Fn, Win, & Alt with the other options
