Hallo everybody and thanks for the work you've done on this.
I'm new here, this is my first post, and i've just bought a second hand 1025ce.
I'd like to install a 64bit OS, but i've no idea of the passages needed for the fixing of the bios, can someone post a step by step guide for this upgrade?
If that's not possible, i'd appreciate a link to some instructions about how to use the files posted by Xenon (I actually have no clue on their function).

Hallo again.
I might have understood how to flash the bios, but what should i do withe the microcode file?
Is there anyone who can spend some minute to link good instructions? I'm searching on internet but i'd like to avoid the bricking of the pc whit incorrect procedure (or understanding).

It took me quite some time to figure out there are 2 places to patch (for bootstrap processor and application processors).
Below are some notes to help you gain confidence that nothing fishy is being added. Use your hex editor compare function to compare between the BIOS file from Asus and my patched version.

Optionally, you can update the microcode as well. I discovered Acer AOD270 BIOS has a newer version of the microcode.
In Asus 1025C (and old BIOS version of Acer AOD270): Version 0x010C, 2011-11-23
In Acer AOD270: Version 0x010D, 2011-12-22
With new microcode,

Note the hashes are on 2097152-byte ROM file, not zip file.
When I flash the modified ROM to my 1015CX eee pc, the Easy Flash Uility report "Model Name doesn't match!". After google "eeepc model name", it seem that the ROMID in ROM file doesn't match to bios' ROMID. Is it possible flash the 64bit ROM to my 1015CX? The hardware of 1015CX and 1025C is similar.

Hey, this is my first post and I´m not at all experienced with bios modding. Yet I would love to enable x64 on my asus eeepc 1025c. I have the model with the Atom N2800, and currently run Ubuntu 14.04. I tried running Securable under Wine and it came up with 32-bit, Yes, No. Do I understand correctly that the process described on habrahabr.ru won´t work? Can I still use the files Xenon posted? (Which one do I use, and how do I use the file?)
