All that information is correct BDMaster. Your gonna be better than me one of these days Big Grin

I've only seen hiding it with the VSS-Data once, so it's not very common. And hiding it by the form op-codes is used when the tab is already visible but lacks a lot of options. So depending on the case, I target different components when preforming the modifications.

Hey,
Would you unlocking my HP laptop Bios advanced menu and whitelist removal, i already tried but every time i open the Setup utility (ROM) with IDA Pro,
there's no automatically detected processor, so im kinda confused.
this is my bios link : http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp52501-53000/sp52604.exe
i found that someone has already made it, here's the link : http://www.bios-mods.com/BIOS/Insyde/sp5...miloml.exe,
but unfortunately it wont save the bios changes, it's only get hang and all i can do is only press power button to turn of or pressed ctrl+alt+del for restart.
thank you very much indeed Big Grin

I can give a look friend, but You have confirm bios source as I don't want waste my time ! look links above in head of this post check it and confirm, then

I haven't seen any modded BIOS's on the g62-225dx and/or Insyde F.37 but I'd like the chipset configuration to allow me to allocate just a little bit more memory to my gpu.
Is this possible?
Does this exist?
Thank you.

Here you go. It wasn't initializing all the tabs, so the only way to unlock one was by replacing another tab. Enjoy Big Grin

And if you'd want to donate, then that'd be awesome! Smile

I'll see what I can do next time I get payed. And is there anything specific I should know? Never really done this before, or is it in a sticky and I sound dumb? Tongue

The instructions to flash it are in the readme.txt, and there's nothing more you need to know. Just use common sense, and avoid changing crucial settings.

Hello,

I've been searching in vain for a modded BIOS for a family member's HP G62t-300.

I need to be able to adjust the RAM timings as HP apparently runs the stock ram at different settings than the new memory (same type/clocks but higher capacity).

Board model is 1484

HP link is http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp52501-53000/sp52604.exe

There are several BIOS versions for this machine so any of them are fine with me.

Thanks for your time.
